Lodge View Bed and Breakfast is situated just a short walk from

the historic town centre of Stamford. Our bungalow is in a small

quiet close, with far reaching views across Stamford town, with

Burghley House visible on the horizon.We are one of the nearest

bed and breakfast establishments to the centre of Stamford.

 

 

 On arrival you will be offered tea or coffee and cake or biscuits in the kitchen diner,

and the chance to have a chat and find out any local information that you

might need.

In your room you will find additional information, including

Stamford emergency numbers, taxi numbers, eating out

recommendations, local maps, events etc. We are happy to make

reservations for you at your choice of restaurant.

A substantial full English breakfast is provided, to set you up for

the day! Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary

requirements, and we will do our utmost to accommodate you.

Stamford has a diverse selection of places to eat, including

 Chinese, Indian,Thai, Italian, as well as traditional pub fayre.

There are many character pubs to relax in as well as coffee

houses.

Shopping is a delight in Stamford, with many independent shops

to find those quirky gifts, clothes etc. The Friday market spreads

 through the centre of Stamford, and provides opportunities to

purchase a wide range of products.

Stamford has been called 'the finest stone town in England'.

There is a wealth of historical buidings , and many historic

passageways to explore.
