In your room you will find additional information, including phone numbers, local menus, maps, events etc. We are happy to make reservations for you at your choice of restaurant.
A substantial full English breakfast is provided, to set you up for the day! Alternatively a lighter continental breakfast is available, plus cereals, yoghurts, fruit compote etc. When our hens are 'co-operating' fresh laid eggs can be enjoyed with zero food miles!
Fresh strawberries from the allotment are now available for breakfast !
Fresh tomatoes from our nearby allotment can be enjoyed with your breakfast when available. Home made preserves also using our allotment produce are usually available too. Enjoy lashings of toast smothered in homemade strawberry jam! All ingredients are locally sourced as far as possible.
Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements, and we will do our utmost to accommodate you. We are happy to cater for gluten free and vegetarian diets.
Wi fi internet access is available on request.
When possible we have fresh flowers from the garden in the bedrooms.
We socialise assistance dog puppies for Hearing Dogs for the Deaf. This is Pip who has just left us to go into training to learn how to alert her deaf recipient to sounds in the home.
We now have a Cockerpoo puppy called Riley to socialise.
Riley will have his own personal space to retire to (the puppy 'crate'), when life is too exciting to behave in a calm manner, so guests who were less keen on our four legged friends could be assured of peace and quiet!
Riley is growing fast, and is lots of fun! He loves to meet people and always has a waggy tail!
Riley has been on holiday to the Isle of Man. He loved the beaches and was brave enough to swim in the sea!
He is calming down beautifully and has achieved his One Star test with distinction!
Riley likes his 'creature comforts'!
At Lodge View we try to be as 'green' as possible. We generate electricity using our solar panels. We have also just installed a rain water harvesting system. This water is used to flush the toilets, and for the washing machine. We also try to re-cycle as much waste as possible.
Please note that Lodge View is
